On the Record
What experiences do you have that make you a good candidate for office?
The knowledge I have learned over the past ten years working for Kane County DOT, can be applied toward helping the Village of Kaneville.
What are your top two or three priorities if elected?
Road maintenance is kept up with and also in a timely manor. Village residents requests and ideas are heard and responded to.
Would you support freezing your taxing district’s levy until housing prices rebound? Why or why not?
Yes, during these uncertain times it is hard to say what the housing prices will do. Until it recovers we shouldn’t burden residents with higher taxes.
What one decision by the village board do you most disagree with and why?
We have not had any disagreements with the decisions made by the village board, since we moved back to town five years ago.
What was the biggest accomplishment of the board in the past year?
Villages telecom tax rate will bring more money to our village without costing residents anymore money.
Why should voters elect you to office?
I grew up in this community, I went to the grade school here. I may have moved away but it was for a short time. Now that I am back I would like to be a bigger part in my community. I love this town.
