My name is Brenda Rodgers, and I am running for Kane County Recorder of Deeds. My background as a realtor and property owner allows me to bring a different perspective to the office of Kane County Recorder of Deeds. I have an awareness and understanding of recent market changes that affect the residents of Kane County. These market changes have a direct and indirect affect on the residents in buying and selling properties as well as the community itself. When elected it is my goal to hold informational seminars and quarterly town hall meetings to keep the residents informed of what the office sees affecting the community both positively and negatively. In addition, these meetings would inform the residents of Kane County of the various mortgages available, real estate assistance, and what the office of Recorder Deeds is doing to assist the community.

Having played a vital role in the design & development of our Land Records System, I take great pride when a user takes the time to tell me how professional the office is and that we set the standard for recording and searching documents. As such, I want to ensure that this system stays in place so that the customers can continue to receive the quality of service that they have become accustomed to receiving. I also want to continue implementing new technologies that make recording and searching documents easier.
